The Uncanny Tomb Mountain in Turkey
One of the mountains which have perplexed the historians and explorers is situated within the Çorum Province of Turkey. There is a tomb carved inside this mountain and it is said that it was constructed by Greeks in the second century. This tomb has a giant stone door having an impervious look at its opening. The opening of the entrance has a hole of about three feet size from which a person can enter by squeezing himself.
There are letters inscribed as IKEJDIOS on the gateway of this tomb. It is said that these letters have some relevance to a Greek general who is buried inside this tomb, but the actual purpose of these letters is still unsure. One can reach the tomb only after passing through a long and narrow pathway. This place was kept hidden from the general public for many years but now anyone can visit this historical puzzle.

Congo’s Golden Mountain
In March 2021, some workers were digging around a small village where they struck yellow stones mixed up with clumps of soil. This place was on a mountain. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that these yellow stones were gold nuggets. The people living nearby this area started gold mining. After some time, the Congolese government intervened, and the mountain was sealed for gold mining by the general public. It is said that 2-3 tons of gold is extracted every year from this source due to which this mountain is referred as “the Golden Mountain”.
The Haunted Mount Nyangani in Zimbabwe
Just like many other mountains, the mount Nyangani present in Zimbabwe also seems to be an ordinary mountain at first sight. But it is believed that this mountain holds some dark legend. It is believed by the local community that Jinn (supernatural creatures) are living on this mountain and they do not allow anyone to climb it. It is said that anyone who tries climbing this mountain disappears mysteriously without leaving any trace behind.
Due to this phenomena people have started calling this mountain as “Swallow Mountain”. Some people say that they have heard some mysterious noises coming from the mountain. Sudden weather changes and sightings of the colorful snakes are also reported making this place as one of the haunted places on the earth.
